Prayer-eoke

Imagine karaoke with Hebrew prayers instead of pop songs. That, my friends, is prayer-eoke.

I created the original prayer-eoke clips in August 2011 for Hillel students at Occidental College.

These short videos are designed to teach anyone—regardless of Hebrew reading abilities—the

words and melodies for common Jewish prayers.  Initially, I made these clips for the less common

High Holy Day prayers, so that Hillel students could prepare to lead High Holy Day services.

They were so successful that I decided to expand the scope of these videos to include prayers

for Shabbat, other holidays,  and the typical service led by b’nei mitzvah students.

All of these videos are now available on my YouTube channel, which has over 2 million channel views.
